It's all in our blood
Our family has been in the hospitality business for as long as we can remember.
In the late 1960s, our parents Giuseppina and Francesco came back from Switzerland and decided to invest the money they had earned in building a small mountain farm with cows and goats. Tourism was starting to boom in the area thanks to fresh alpine air and beautiful landscape, and Giuseppina foresaw the opportunity to grow a business from what she could do best: cooking delicious, hearty food and being the perfect host for her guests.
And so the story began and has been going on since 1972. Giuseppina's daughters Renza and Giovanna learned her skills and carried on her work: Giovanna is an amazing cook and she uses local produce and products to make all our signature dishes from scratch; Renza is the kind soul who makes sure that everything runs smoothly with both our restaurant and b&b. And lately, the team has seen the addition of Renza's daughter Betty, who decided to "come home" after 10 years of working in England and as a graphic designer. She makes sure that our social media platforms are up to date and deals directly with all our lovely customers, both Italians and foreigners.
